It's not that simple. Skin tones fall into two categories - yellow undertones and blue undertones. Hair color should compliment skin tone - i.e., ash tones or reddish tones. Skin tone can't change - your foundation color should always match your skin tone. Red lipsticks can come in all sorts of colors but basically they either have orange or blue undertones. The orange-reds should be worn by a woman with yellow undertones to her skin, and she'll naturally have reddish tones to her hair... Blue-reds will be worn by women with blue undertones to their skin and black or ashy tones to their hair. U would have to try it..but i honestly think anyone can probably pull off the red lipstick..theres different shades to choose from..but i think it looks nice on platinum blonde n light skin tone EX: christina aguilera n gwen stefani

i know most people say that the only way you can pull off red lipstick is if your pale, but i don't beleive. i think that any skin tone can pull off the look as long as you keep the rest of your make-up simple. And also i think you have to have light colored lips to pull it off
i think someone with Pale skin and dark hair goes good with red lipstick bettr than anything else
