Is red lipstick too much for a 14 year old to wear?

I would like to wear red lipstick for a wedding I'm going to go to.. is it too mature for a 14 year old though ?Is red lipstick too much for a 14 year old to wear?
if you want to you can but you should probably wear a most 'fun' color or pinkIs red lipstick too much for a 14 year old to wear?
i'm definitely not a fan of red lipstick but it just depends how you go about using it.. if the rest of your makeup looks good with it and you know how to then go ahead (:

just make sure your eye makeup is simple and your lipstick is put on well

moisturise your lips, use a similar coloured lip liner and fill it in using a brush (don't apply it directly it'll be thick and wobbly)

also, keep your eye makeup light (:
yeah...whre sumthing natural or just colcoured lip gloss..

red is too old
I am the same age and i also have medium tan skin and brown eyes and hair. :) *small world?* anyway, i think that its not too mature at all. i mean, i guess it would depend a lot on if the wedding is more fancy or dressy-casual. but, i think you could definitely full it off with the right outfit and make up. :) have fun at the wedding!!
Chloe,

Don't take this the wrong way, but I think lipstick might not be appropriate for your age bracket. I suggest the following glosses that are intense red by Coonobabe

luxglo dr. red russian, diabla

Hope this helps.

Google Coonobabe

they ship 4 free, made in USA, and do not test on animals.
It depends on the shade of red, your skin tone, etc. If you think it looks good, then go for it! If you're going to wear a bright color for lipstick, make sure you tone down any other make-up that you're wearing, otherwise you'll look like - well, you know.
Um lolol, no. its just lipstick. i dont understand how a certain shade of lipstick can be ';too mature';.
DEFINITLY!! hahaha I personally don't think red lip stick looks good on anyone unless they're a model on a cover of a magazine. I think you'd stand out too much and adults at the wedding would probably question your reasons for wearing it and you also might look like you're like a little girl who steals her moms make-up even if you do put it on well, no offense, also a wedding is about looking formal not sexy so I would stick to wearing a softer color, if you want to wear red then I suggest using something a little darker just not soo.....red...
uh....not really i guess.

but if i were you i would go with lip gloss.

if the rest of your make up isnt that heavy then yea i guess lipstick is a lil too much.

but hey its your choice!
i dont think so as long as its not a dark red.

its just for a wedding so why not??
no its fine!! its not everyday wear, its a special occasion! wear the lipstick and be confident.
It depends. are you going to wear heavy make up? if not , sure wear it. as long as it looks okay and not a clown
i think it is too mature. i guess you could wear it to some fancy occasion but I think you should wear lipgloss instead. more appropriate for you age. hope this helps :)
If you get a sheer color, I think it's fine. Also, you could try to do a blend: First, put a very light shade of lipstick, not lip gloss, on. Then, in the middle of your lips, put a sheer red on. Make it so that it spreads to almost your entire lip, but leaving a little bit of room at the corners so you can see the light color and how it fades into it. You could also try a lipstain or lip pencil.
