What colour clothes go good with red lipstick?

Just for alitle bit more dressy than casual. I know your not sposed to match make-up with clothes but I want to make sure I match.. I'm a light brown/dark blonde. I have green eyes and fair skin. and red lipstick looks good on me but I have no idea what to wear with it. Can you help me?

Red lips look really great when you wear your most flattering neutrals - black, navy, gray; or espresso brown, tan, olive. Occasionally, you will find a red that matches perfectly - but don't count on it.


Add silver or gold earrings.


Do a neutral eye - grays or browns.

Block colours are good, Strong colours, shy away from pastels.





White is great if you want your lips to be the feature. But make sure you dont look washed out.
I would definitely say wear a pretty black buttoned down shirt with black dress up pants and red heels or you can even wear a white blouse with black dress up pants and red heels....both would look gorgeous!
