What shade of red lipstick is best for me (picture included)?
so i am fairly light skinned, im irish and italian, and i want to wear a deep red lipstick (like lauren conrad did on the hills a few times, like on the episode of her birthday party)

Somehow I don't think deep red lipstick would suit u well. Maybe a slightly red tinted lip-gloss would be better.

i'm very fair, and i love MAC red, by mac. it's a great pink based red, so while it's very bright, it's not over powering. it's also have a blue undertone, which again is good on pale skin (if you have a cool skin tone... which a lot of fair people do)
if you have more a more warm skin tone, you could maybe look at russian red by mac, which is again a brighter red without being too deep (it's a true red, so really anyone could wear it).
your best bet is just to go to mac (yes, they are the best!) and try on lots of different colours, they have such a huge range of lipsticks your bound to find something you like.
when your fair you can really get away with a lot, it just depends how bold you want to be. remember to keep the rest of your face simple, because being fair, the red will stand out more, and you're makeup can look ';too much'; quickly.What is the best shade of red lipstick for fair skin?

I personally think that like ruby red looks good on fair skinned people. The contrast is beautiful, but really bold! I think wearing red lipstick and little or no other makeup really says something about a girl. I do that sometimes when I feel a little confident :)

I love sephora brand's red lipstick. They cost $10-12 and they come in a variety of nice shades. If you are into the eco-friendly stuff, then you may like Cargo's Plant Love lipsticks. They are all-natural and even come in biodegradable containers. My personal favorite shade of theirs would have to be cherry bliss. I hope this helps! :)
